Qualification Summary

Videography and non-linear editing on both short (5- minutes) and long (30+ minutes) projects, as well as 30 second commercials. Own a JVC GY-HD200U camera, Azden wireless lavalier mic, two Smith-Victor Q60-SG 600 Watt flood lights and Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 on high-end (Alienware) desktop and (Asus) Laptop systems. Some experience with Adobe Encore DVD authoring and Lightscribe media. Experienced with HTML and CSS. Basic Photoshop CS, Image Ready CS, and Gimp knowledge. Versatile with PC and Macintosh platforms.

Hardware: Various mini-DV (SD and HDV) cameras including JVC GY-HD200U (owned), Sony DSR-250, Sony Z1U. Wired, wireless, lavalier, boom, and shotgun mics. Various field light kits.

Experience

Webcaster/Videographer
E Video Production, Forked River, NJ July 2008 - Present

Responsible for a classroom webcast. Duties include setting up equipment, monitoring audio, monitoring video, and basic tech support for students at home. Also assists in all facets of production for other projects, including corporate and event videography.

On-Air Talent
Joe Critic - Greenrose Media, Bayville, NJ November 2007 - Present

TV food critic on Ocean County Business TV. Writes, edits, and hosts segments for broadcast on the leased access channels in Ocean County, NJ.

Videographer
Greenrose Media, Bayville, NJ January 2007 - Present

Assists in all facets of production, serving as PA (setup lighting, setup mics, hold boom, etc.), script writer, audio editor, and video editor. Projects include 30 second commercials, product tutorials, real estate listings TV show, and corporate/educational recruitment videos. Using Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5 and Adobe Premiere 6.5.

McDaniel College, Westminster, MD 2004 - 2006

Produced the Senior Leaders Commemorative Video (2004, 2005, and 2006) for the McDaniel College Office of Multicultural Services, a 15-minute piece made to a template specified by the office. Used MacroSystem Casablanca Avio, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Apple Final Cut Pro.

Created a sketch comedy show, Mixed Bag, and supported various production roles on multiple projects. Gained experience in on-screen, camera operator, editor, director, boom, teleprompter, and writer roles. Trained others to use MacroSystem Casablanca Avio, sound board, and video switcher.
